Our strategy to achieve this is equally straightforward. We recruit the very best commercial talent we can find. We train them to deliver the highest possible level of service. Enhanced control. Reduced costs. Reduced risk.

There is a growing recognition in the NHS that there is a need for more effective and cohesive management of assets in the NHS. Acute trusts, in particular, face significant challenges meeting a range of regulatory pressures with regard to the management of medical devices.

Leaseguard is developing an NHS Asset Management Benchmarking tool based on the British Standard PAS 55 to enable Trusts to better identify where and how they can improve, and all Leaseguard systems services are targeted individually at specific aspects of Asset Management, with all systems and services being fully integrated so they collectively deliver a complete platform to manage every aspect of the asset base and its related costs.

OPTIMiSe-Assets

OPTIMiSe-Assets provides Trust not only with a full database capability to log and track assets, but vitally with the capability to associate assets with procurement and contracts  - to enable more effective commercial management - and to link to systems such as EBME to complement the physical management of the asset base.

Audit and tagging

A key requirement of any effective approach to Asset Management is an accurate picture of the asset portfolio. One of the problems all Trusts have is pulling together information on its existing assets, so Leaseguard provide services to audit the asset base - and tag it so that re-audits can be easily implemented to keep it fully up to date.

Asset Management Policy

A starting point for many Trusts is the establishment of a comprehensive Asset Management Policy, details the processes, responsibilities and asset management objectives of the Trust. Leaseguard can help the Trust both develop and implement this strategy.
